This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which IMPCT Official trading as IMPCT (ABN 97786131430) (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from impct.com.au.

- Purpose of collection: To collect information about our users, to provide sufficient information based on customer’s needs, customer support and to collect personal contact information to provide a response.

- Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify.
- Personal Information collected: Name, email address and any other information voluntarily provided to us.
- Facebook Pixel and Business Tools
Our website uses the Facebook Pixel and other business tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. to help us understand the effectiveness of our advertising and the interactions users have with our website. These tools enhance our marketing efforts and tailor them to better serve our audience.
Purpose of collection: For analytical measurement and to evaluate the performance of our advertising campaigns. To tailor our advertisements based on your interests and previous interactions. To ensure our ads reach relevant audiences efficiently.

Disclosure for a business purpose: We may share your information with Meta Platforms, Inc. as required to utilise their business tools and as outlined in Meta’s privacy policies. Any international data transfer is conducted in accordance with GDPR-approved mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who assist us with advertising or data analysis. We may disclose your personal information to legal and regulatory authorities when required to comply with laws or regulations.
Personal information collected: Types of data that may be shared include names, email addresses, and phone numbers for 'matching' purposes only. Information about your device type, operating system, browser type, IP addresses, approximate location and interactions with our website, content, social media, advertisements and behavioural data associated with your activities on our website, for example, conversions, subscriptions and purchases is collected and shared. Meta Platforms, Inc. will not share Business Tool Data that they are provided by our use of their services, with third parties (including advertisers) unless we advise them that we are permitted to do so or they are required to do so by law.
Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data: You have given explicit consent via our cookie and consent banner and our legitimate interest in optimising our advertising performance and gaining insights to enhance user experience.
Your Rights and Choices:
(GDPR) You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal data. You may request the deletion or restriction of your personal data under certain conditions. You have the right to object to processing and request data portability.
(CCPA) California residents can request access to or deletion of personal information. You may opt-out of the sale of your personal data by opting out. Exercising your rights will not lead to any discrimination regarding the quality of goods or services.
Data security: We safeguard personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Meta Platforms, Inc. implement processes and procedures to protect the confidentiality and security of the Business Tool Data, including by maintaining appropriate organisational, technical and physical safeguards that are designed to (a) protect the security and integrity of the Business Tool Data while they are within the systems and (b) guard against the accidental or unauthorised access, use, alteration, or disclosure of Business Tool Data within the systems. These processes and procedures include the measures listed in Meta’s Data Security Terms (as updated from time to time, for example, to reflect technological developments) which are expressly incorporated into these Business Tools Terms.
If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us by e-mail. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date.
You may request details and a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. Where possible, we will provide this information in a easily readable format. You may request that we erase the personal information we hold about you at any time. You may make a third-hand request for personal information to be erased for another person (for example, a minor).
Sharing Personal Information

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
- Temporary blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This blacklist persists for a small number of hours.
- Temporary blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses. This blacklist persists for a small number of days.

Cookies
We may use cookies on our Site from time to time. Cookies are text files placed in your computer’s browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your email address or other personally identifiable information. However, they do allow third parties, such as Google and Facebook, to cause our advertisements to appear on your social media and online media feeds as part of our retargeting campaigns. If and when you choose to provide our Site with personal information this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie. Cookies make your browsing experience better by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login and region selection). Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that the personal information we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
Complaints
If you believe that we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or an article of the GDPR and wish to make a complaint, please contact us at hello@impct.com.au and provide us with full details of the alleged breach. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. You also have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you wish to make a complaint.
